Statement: Erin Ashford was trained as a documentary photographer at Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She lives in San Francisco, but shoots frequently in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York, with repeat clients such as Porsche, Neiman Marcus, Elie Tahari, Fendi, Jeffrey Fashion Cares, Fernbank Natural History Museum, Schwarzkopf, Atlanta Contemporary Arts Center, Dogpatch Films, LuxeCrush magazine, Thiel Foundation and The Atlantan. Erin accepts photography clients from all over the world.
Erin is also a mixed media artist who focuses primarily on the female form. Using her traditional photography background along with many mediums: resin, house paint, pens, photographs, aerosol, metal, wood and digital enhancement, she can experiment with depth and layers of clarity. Well versed in advanced darkroom techniques, digital photography, editing, fashion design and an eye for movement, there is no stopping this fireball. When she's not editing in her studio you can find her documenting female street artists, shooting high profile events and weddings, roller skating about or dancing.

Few and Far Video - Primary Flight
Few and Far is a collective of about 13 women artists that are pushing the envelope in the street art and mural community. We travel around the world empowering other women to visualize art on a large scale and in a creative and collaborative environment. One of our sponsors, Ironlak made this video of us in Miami during Art Basel in December 2011. We’re working on getting grants to develop a fund for our future projects, upcoming exhibition at Bherd Gallery in Seattle, our road trip to Mexico, an upcoming commissioned wall in Oakland and a magazine spread featuring my imagery from Art Basel in Infamous Magazine. We’ve had such a positive response in a little less than a year. If you know anyone that wants to donate to our collective or advertise on our tour van to Mexico in April, reach out!
